The lifeboat and coastguard helped to rescue a man that had blown out to sea on an inflatable dinghy.
The RNLI and HM Coastguard were called out to the incident just outside Marske at around 1.35pm on Monday (August 21) following reports of a person that had got into distress.
After arriving at the scene, both agencies confirmed that the incident involved a man that had gotten into trouble while sailing an inflatable dinghy.

In total, rescue crews from three different locations were tasked with saving the man.
He was eventually brought to shore, with the RNLI and Coastguard giving him advice to stay safe and prevent future incidents.
A spokesperson for HM Coastguard said: "Coastguard Rescue Teams (CRTs) from Staithes, Whitby and Redcar were alerted to a report of a male in an inflatable dinghy being blown out to sea off Marske.
"The alarm was raised at about 1.35pm. The man made his own way to shore without the dinghy, and was given safety advice by the Redcar CRT."
