Police have thanked the public after they found a missing teenage girl last seen wearing her NUFC strip at Friday (August 18) lunchtime.
The sixteen-year-old was last seen in the Byker area of Newcastle at around 12.30pm and had not been heard from since.
Officers said they were growing increasingly concerned for her welfare and appealed to the public for help.
She has now been found.

The teenager was last wearing her Newcastle United strip – a replica of the new blue and green away kit with a yellow badge and Sela sponsorship.
It was believed she may have travelled by bus or train to other parts of the North East.

Anyone with information was urged to contact Northumbria Police.
A force spokesperson said: “Missing Newcastle teenage girl Rebecca has since been located.
"We would like to thank you for your support in sharing our appeal."
