The family and friends of James Charlton are taking on a challenge to get to all the Tube stations in London in 24 hours.
On January 26, 2022, James Charlton took his own life in London and his friends want to raise money in his memory to raise awareness about mental health.
On the weekend that would have been James’ 28th birthday his friends and family will take on the challenge in London.
They believe there are now 282 stations to visit and they believe it could be possible to get to them all in time.
The fundraiser has currently £510 with a target of £1,000.

Charlotte Parker, one of James’ friends, said: “James was loved by so many and will forever be remembered for the positive impact he made on a lot of things, a lot of people and for all that he achieved.
“James had a passion for the London Underground, in my time in London I was always an anxious traveller so James would always meet me and help me travel to wherever I needed to go.
“I never had to open Google maps in my time there, James was my Google map.
“Myself, friends and family thought it would be a great idea to raise some money in memory of James, whilst also raising awareness for mental health, by using the underground for a challenge.
“We have decided that on the weekend after what would have been James’ 28th birthday we are going to try and get to all tube stations in 24 hours.
“Due to the opening of the Elizabeth line there are now 282 tube stations.”
The group are not sure if they will be able to visit all of the stations but they are going to try their best.
