The following cases were heard at Teesside magistrates court during the last two weeks.
Lee Wilkinson
Lewis Wilkinson, 30, failed to comply with rules regarding his release following a period in prison. He did not keep in touch with his supervisor and he went missing for a period on July 31, 2023. The man from Middlesbrough has been committed to prison for 14 days.
Clair Deacon
Clair Deacon, 40, drove an unlicensed vehicle, with the registration JL06MCB. She used the car on October 18, 2021 when it's previous licence had expired. The Park Place West, Sunderland resident, was found guilty of the offence on August 11, 2023. She was fined £293 and also ordered to pay vehicle back duty of £15 along with £90 financial costs.

Ashleigh Greenwood
Ashleigh Greenwood, 36, had a vehicle which did not meet insurance requirements. A verdict was reached in her absence on August 11, 2023. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £88 victim surcharge along with £140 financial costs.
Lee Tobin
Lee Tobin, 45, failed to comply with the terms of his community order. He did not turn up at his specified place for curfew on multiple occasions between July 12 until July 21, 2023. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of the Hartlepool man.
Neil Buck
Neil Buck, 46, failed to attend his rehabilitation activity requirement day on April 24, 2023 and his unpaid work day on June 1, 2023. A warranr for the Hartlepool man has been issued to be carried out by NCES North East.
Michael Marsh
Michael Marsh, 41, committed an offence during the period of a suspended sentence order made last year for 10 shop thefts. He had stolen goods from Lidl, Tesco, B&Q among others. The Middlesbrough man was given an overall sentence of 28 weeks imprisonment.

Marquise Lawrence
Marquise Lawrence, 22, assaulted a woman by beating her on March 14, 2022. The 22-year-old pleaded guilty and was handed a fine totalling £934. The verdict was delivered in his absence.
Andrew Coates
Andrew Coates, 54, has a warrant for his arrest for being an undischarged bankrupt. He took out a loan for £2,350 without telling the company that he was an undischarged bankrupt.
