Students across the country have been opening those dreaded A-Level results envelopes this morning, including many youngsters here in Darlington - are you in any of our photos?
It's been a day of heightened emotions for 18-year-olds everywhere as they received their A-Level results this morning, which will set them on their path to university or apprenticeships.
At Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College in Darlington, the mood was one of jubilation as students had university places confirmed everywhere from Oxford and Manchester to Newcastle.

Here are some success stories from the college this morning, as they celebrate a stellar set of A-Level results from across the cohort.
Cameron Coates
Cameron Coates, from Darlington's Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College, has been on top of the world after he has been accepted to study an apprenticeship with the Government Economic Service at the Darlington Economic Campus.
After receiving ABB grades in psychology, P.E. and economics, Cameron is the first student from the sixth form who will learn there.
Sam Jackson
Sam Jackson from Ingleby Barwick had his childhood dreams realised this morning (August 17) when his outstanding A-Level grades confirmed his place at Oxford University.
After gaining 3 A*'s and 1 A grade at Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College, Sam will be off to St Hugh's College this September to study Mathematics.
Jessica Fairley and Libby Aitken
Jessica Fairley recieved A*A*AB grades and is off to Bath to study Politics and Economics.
Libby Aitken cinched A*AA in biology, chemistry and physics and is now off to study Veterinary Medicine.
Friends Daisy, Sarah and Maisie
Daisy is off to study at Leeds Conservatoire next year as she takes a gap year. She got A*AD* in music, English literature and media studies.
Sarah cinched BBC grades in media, sociology and psychology. She is off to Northumbria Business School.
Maisie got BBB grades in English Lit, media and history and is off to Manchester Met to study journalism.
Ben Moore
Ben achieved A*AAB grades and will study Archaeology and Ancient History at Edinburgh University this autumn.
Lana Harris
Lana is heading to St Martins in London to read Graphic Communication Design after recieving A*A*AB grades.
She said she was "surprised" at the grades when she opened the envelope.
