Two teens have been arrested after climbing onto the roof of a chapel building and throwing debris onto the road below.
Emergency services were called to Wesley Chapel on Swainson Street in Hartlepool at around 4.10am on Wednesday (August 16) following reports of two people on the roof.
When police and the fire service arrived, they found two teenagers, who were causing damage to the roof of the chapel.

Cleveland Police have confirmed that two teenagers, 17 and 18, were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and they currently remain in custody.
Cleveland Fire Brigade also confirmed their attendance at the incident but were on 'protective standby' for the two hours that the incident remained active.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "We were called at 04.34am to an incident at the Wesley Building, Swainson Street, Hartlepool.
"One fire engine in attendance. Fire Brigade provided assistance to Police who were dealing with two youths on the roof and remained on protective standby until police resolved the issue.
"Fire Brigade then cleared the road of debris and left the scene around 6.35am."
