Emergency services were called to an incident involving a dog bite on Saturday evening.
One person, believed to be a young child, suffered facial injuries near a row of shops of Norton Road in Stockton and was taken to hospital.
The alarm was raised at around 6.25pm.

A spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 6.25pm yesterday (August 12) to reports of an incident involving a dog bite in the Norton area of Stockton.
"We dispatched a paramedic crew who treated one patient with facial injuries before transporting to hospital."
Cleveland Police has been contacted for comment.
