Jeff Stelling has been spotted back in the North East after he surprised a coffee van owner on Saturday (August 12).
The broadcaster, who announced that he was leaving Sky Sports earlier this year, hails from Hartlepool - but now calls Hampshire home.
However, he got back to his roots on Saturday after he was seen at Seaton Carew by a coffee shop owner.
Calling at The Seahorse Coffee Box at the seaside resort, the person running the cafe was in shock that she had seen the TV personality.

Posting to The Seahorse Coffee Box social media page, the caption: "Absolute gentleman and a legend - lovely to see you and we hope you enjoyed your coffee too," appeared alongside a picture of Stelling.
The presenter broke his silence earlier this month to confirm that he will be joining talkSPORT in his first role since leaving Sky Sports.
Stelling will join talkSPORT's Breakfast show, presenting for two days a week alongside former Rangers star Ally McCoist.
The broadcaster will start work in December and will be heard on the airwaves on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Stelling revealed his delight at securing his next role, which will see him link up with much-loved pundit McCoist.
He said: “I’m so pleased to be joining the team at talkSPORT. As a long-time listener to the show it’s a dream of mine to sit in the legendary chair and wake people up every Monday and Tuesday.
“I might not be looking forward to the 4:30 alarm call, but I am looking forward to getting stuck in with great guests, chat and fun every morning alongside the legendary Ally McCoist.”
