Hundreds flocked out on Saturday (August 12) to enjoy the 168th installment of the Sedgefield Show.
While the weather was changeable in other parts of the region, weather for the show stayed mostly dry - meaning the event could happen without any issue.
Featuring numerous show categories, the day saw everything from farming vehicles, animal showing, cattle classes, animals, as well as produce, handicrafts and artistic items entered by people of all ages from the local schoolchildren onwards.

However, it wasn't just about competition, the show also featured many other attractions, including tradestands displaying their goods, a food hall to sample local delicacies and fun-fair rides for all.
First starting in 1859, Sedgefield Show is steeped in a lot of history - but has moved a long way since its first inclings.
The original show format was a show followed by a dinner or a luncheon which were held in local inns in Sedgefield followed in later years in a tent on the showfield.
