Overnight closures will cause disruption to drivers on the A19 later this month as essential resurfacing work is set to be carried out.
The main A-road will be closed northbound between the A689 at Wolviston and the A179 at Sheraton from Sunday, August 20.
Closures are expected to last for five weeks and will take place between 8pm and 6am Sunday to Friday. There will also be a 50mph speed limit imposed during the day due to traffic using temporary road surfaces.

Traffic will be diverted off the A19 via the A689 and A179 to rejoin the carriageway at the Sheraton Interchange.
Michael Morgan, National Highways Project Manager, said: “This resurfacing is essential and will futureproof this part of the A19 for years to come.
“We are carrying work out on weekends only to minimise disruption, but I would still advise road users to check the diversion route and please allow extra time for your journey.”
The road will not be closed overnight on Saturdays, or on the August Bank Holiday weekend from Friday 25 to Monday 28.

For drivers on the A19 the news will mean even more delays to journeys.
Further north overnight closures and speed restrictions are in place on the A19 southbound in North Tyneside. The work is expected to last until the winter.
Over on the A1 regular nighttime closures are in place as part of the Birtley to Coal House improvement scheme.
