A police cordon has been put in place and road closed after there were reports of an old grenade found on a North East street.
Cleveland Police have confirmed a cordon has been erected on Bath Road in Eston today (August 6) due to a report of an old grenade found there.
They said the cordon is in place as a "precautionary measure" to ensure the safety of those in the area.

The force thanked those in the area for their cooperation during the incident.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "There is currently a police cordon in place on Bath Road in Eston due to a report of an old grenade found there.
"The cordon is in place as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of those in the area.
"The Military EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) team is currently in attendance to assist with in an assessment of the item and make the area safe as soon as possible.
"Thank you to those in the area for your cooperation and patience with this disruption until we can confirm that the area is safe."
