Residents braved the wet and rainy weather to attend this year's Seaham Food Festival to enjoy the food on offer.
Attendees from across the North East flocked to Seaham Harbour Marina today (August 5) to enjoy the various culinary delights on offer at Seaham Food Festival.
As the rain came down, many sat and watched as famous chefs - including Masterchef star and County Durham's own, Jonny Stewart - at the Cookery Theatre.

Adding to this, many residents could be seen taking in the coastline views as they enjoyed street food such as woodfire pizzas, loaded fries and Yorkshire Pudding wraps filled with beef.
Vendors also included various bakery and confectionery stalls offering sweet treats such as fudge, sweets, flapjacks, cakes and cookies.
Meanwhile, children could be seen enjoying food and street performances taking place on a closed-off section of road on North Terrace.
