A major high street retailer has announced that they will open a new store in one of the North East’s premier shopping locations.

Office has opened a new store in Newcastle city centre this weekend. The shoe-selling chain today (August 5) took over the former Kurt Geiger unit on Hotspur Way at Eldon Square, which is marketed as “the city centre’s shopping and dining destination”.

Though Office did previously have a store in the centre, this has closed down, and been rebranded.

Taking over the former Kurt Geiger unit on Hotspur Way, OFFICE returns with a range of must-have footwear brands including Birkenstock, Nike, New Balance, Veja, adidas and Crocs for women, men and kids.

Cormac Hamilton, General Manager at Eldon Square commented: “Following its recent store closure, we are pleased to welcome back OFFICE to Eldon Square. OFFICE is a high street staple and we have missed its presence within the centre.

At Eldon Square we work hard to offer community favourites and reintroducing OFFICE’s newly refurbished home is a step towards this.
