Road resurfacing work on a major road in Darlington is causing disruption to a local bus service.
The resurfacing work on Neasham Road began on Monday (July 31) and will continue until Friday, August 11.
Some residents have been concerned about what this means for their local bus service, the 13A/B, and how this will affect their journeys to and from work, the town centre, and Firth Moor.
A spokesperson for Darlington Borough Council said: “Service 13A/B will run via Yarm Road and Geneva Road, then 13A will turn left into Harris Street operating as normal route round Firthmoor returning via Fenby Avenue to Geneva Road and back via Yarm Road.

“13B will do the reverse of this.
“Anyone on Fenby Avenue travelling to Firthmoor needs to be on the opposite side of the road and Firthmoor to Fenby Avenue will also need to be on opposite side too.”
This comes as Woodland Road is also closed this week between the hours of 7pm and 5am, with the last night of work happening tomorrow (Saturday, August 5).
