A man arrested following an alleged sexual assault at a North Yorkshire nightclub has been released on bail as investigations continue.

The incident is reported to have happened at the Vudu nightclub in York city centre between Saturday June 3 and Sunday June 4.

Officers are now trying to trace potential witnesses at the nightclub.

Last week, North Yorkshire Police issued CCTV images of several men the force wished to speak to, who were at the nightclub.
