A man’s body has been found by police with the family of a missing teenager informed.
Police in Hartlepool located the man’s body on Saturday (July 22) morning with officers spotted in the area.
While no formal identification has yet taken place, the family of missing teenager Joseph Aldus have been informed.

The 19-year-old’s nearest and dearest are being supported by specialist officers.
Joseph was last seen in the Seaton Lane and Brenda Road areas of the town on July 13 at around 8.20pm, according to an earlier police appeal.
On Thursday (July 20) officers said they were growing increasingly concerned for Joseph’s welfare.
The man’s death is being treated as unexplained and a post mortem is due to take place.
Cleveland Police said officers would remain in the area while they carry out their enquiries.
A force spokesperson said: “A man’s body has been located this morning (Saturday 22nd July) by officers in the Hartlepool area.

“Whilst no formal identification has yet taken place, the family of missing 19-year-old Joseph Aldus have been informed and they are being supported by specially trained officers.
“The death is being treated as unexplained at this time and a post mortem is due to take place.
“Officers remain in the area whilst enquiries continue.”
