Organisers of Teesside's Gathering Sounds Festival have announced the full line up of incredible artists set to perform this year in Stockton.

ARC 2 will be held at Stockton Arts Centre with headlining acts from a range of local talents.

Celebrated live music producer Under The Influence will be making a return for a third year.

They have crafted the perfect line up and hope to create a mix of dream pop, alt-pop, indie rock and much more.

York's very own pop-rock band King No One will be headlining the event.

Their rise to prominence since busking on the streets of York has been incredible.

After a sold-out tour of Britain's smaller venues the band moved to Manchester and have received praise from BBC Radio 1, Radio X and Line of Best Fit.

During their two tours they have managed to sell 8,000,000 tickets.

The quartet will be supported by other talent from across the North East including Fever, Delights, Mollie Coddled and Lissy Taylor.

Dean Shakespeare, from Under the Influence, said: "We’ve tried to be as eclectic as possible and ensure a gender balance across our stage, working with several artists with whom we’ve seen develop from much smaller shows whilst also introducing new artists to the festival.

"Booking artists like The Shambolics, Hamish Hawk and Stone at previous years’ events and then hearing them across 6 Music and booking them for further UK dates is always a massive reward.

"The artist trajectory is a very important aspect for us and to see this start at Gathering Sounds is a great feeling.

"Our aims are to create a close working relationship with artists, venues and agents to help promote artists across the North and develop a successful journey together."

The Gathering Sounds Festival will be taking over a number of Stockton's other venues in September, including KU Stockton.

One of the North East's stars, Andrew Cushin, is set to headline the whole festival.
