As highly anticipated rock legends The Who take to the stage in Chester-le-Street, fans across the North East are flocking to the Riverside to catch a glimpse of Roger Daltrey and Pete Townsend.
The Who are set to play just one show in County Durham as part of their The Who Hit Back! UK Tour which has seen the band play towns and cities such as Brighton and St Helens.
With doors open since 5pm ahead of support acts UB40 expected to take to the stage at around 7pm who The Who themselves on at 8.30pm, some fans may be in the stadium for a while.
Concertgoers are not permitted to bring their own food and drink into the stadium.
According to event organisers, there will be an extensive range of food and drink available to purchase in the courtyard and stadium. A pint of Amstel will cost you £5.80, which is on the cheaper side of drinks compared to recent events and gigs in the region, with a glass of wine setting you back £5.50 and a pint of Strongbow again at £5.80.
Fans looking for something on the more fancy side can buy themselves a 'cocktail can' again priced at £5.80 and for those who are designated drivers or don't wish to have an alcoholic tipple, assorted 500ml bottles of soft drinks will cost £2.50 and mineral water priced at a moderate £2 for 330ml.
