A restaurant chain are appealing for help tracking down a couple that allegedly took food from a delivery driver without paying their bill.
Manjaros, who have several restaurants across the North East, including in Darlington, Middlesbrough, and Billingham, launched an appeal on Tuesday (July 18) evening after the incident.
During this particular incident, which happened in Billingham, the restaurant say that the couple ordered the food and took it in, telling the driver that they were going to get some money to pay.

However, according to the restaurant, the couple never came back to pay their bill with the delivery driver.
Posting an appeal on its Facebook page on Tuesday Manjaros Billingham said: "Anyone know this gorgeous couple? they ordered from our Billingham takeaway, came to collect the food from our driver took it into the house and said they are coming back to pay.
"They must’ve stuffed themselves and fell asleep on top of each other in the bath, and forgot about our driver.
"If you know these slobs, give them a nudge and tell them there’s a bill to be paid."
As expected, the post led to numerous people commenting on the post and finding the funny side of the appeal from Manjaros.
However, others have said that they are looking to help the restaurant find the couple responsible.
Cleveland Police have been contacted by The Northern Echo about whether the incident has been referred to the police.
