A new fast-food business will soon be opening in a Darlington village, offering pizza, burgers, desserts, and more.
Signs have been put up ahead of Sliceburg opening on 4 West Auckland Road, next door to The Travellers’ Rest Godfather’s Pizza on West Auckland Road in Cockerton.
The food business will be selling “meats, treats, and big eats” according to the sign on the door, although it is as yet unknown when the business will open.
Sliceburg will also offer “stir-fry donner” and desserts.

Cockerton has seen several businesses close in the last year including Fennell’s Retro Vintage & Clothing, Cockerton Post & Packing, and more recently Cooplands closed.
There have, however, been businesses opening in the area as well, including Dough and The Beauty Company.
Sliceburg posted on its Facebook page: “Join the foodie fun at @sliceburg. From our signature Detroit-style pizzas to our juicy smash burgers!”
The Northern Echo approached Sliceburg for comment.
