Coronation Street star Bill Fellows is starring in a short film shot in Darlington this summer.
‘Seeing’ was filmed in various locations in Darlington including Bedford Street and Geneva Woods.
Bill Fellows plays the lead role, an actor who returns to his roots.
The film also stars Jacob Anderton who acted alongside Fellows in Give Them Wings which was filmed in Darlington and Bishop Auckland in 2019 and has had much success at film festivals.

The independent short is funded by the Tees Valley International Film Festival (TVIFF) and Newcastle Film Club assisted with filming.
Director and writer, James Campbell, from Darlington, told The Northern Echo: “We had a really good weekend of filming. Everyone got stuck in and there was a really good atmosphere.
“It was great to have Bill Fellows on board too as he’s from Teesside and he was great to work with.
“When I mentioned the idea to Michael Luke (from TVIFF) he loved the idea and that it was being filmed locally so it was brilliant to have it funded by the festival.

“We couldn’t have done it without Newcastle Film Club either, they were fantastic.”
The film is about an actor who returns to the North East after living in London and finding career success.
‘Seeing’ will be premiered at Tees Valley International Film Festival on Saturday, October 28.
