A NORTH Yorkshire day nursery has been named as one of the top 20 highest reviewed nurseries in the Yorkshire and Humber region, based purely on parent ratings.

Baldersby Park Montessori Nursery School is one of only three nurseries in North Yorkshire to make the awards list compiled by the UK’s leading nursery review website, www.daynurseries.co.uk,

The nursery received 31 reviews in the 12-month qualifying period, giving it a perfect review score of 10 out of 10.

Parents are asked to rate on a range of features, including overall standard of the nursery, its facilities, resources, learning, activities and food/nutrition and care. These are then used to calculate an overall score out of ten.

Among those who left reviews which counted towards this year’s rating for Baldersby Park included Charlotte Wainwright, who said: “We could not have chosen a better nursery for our children. They both run in excited for the day ahead and leave happy and content, having had a full day of fun.

“Our girls both love the woodland walks and the fantastic outdoor space, which is always on hand, come rain or shine.”

Another parent. Elizabeth Spilman added: “My two children are so happy at Baldersby Park. The staff are all extremely friendly and caring.

"The children go in each day with big smiles. The facilities are great, in particular, the fantastic outdoor space and the weekly woodland walk is a highlight for my son. It is wonderful to see their confidence grow and both children thrive in such a supportive, caring, and special environment.”

And Sam Wainwright said: “Both our children have flourished in their time at Baldersby Park. The level of teaching where our children are educated while still getting a fun and enjoyable experience is a testament to the team.

“There isn’t a day when our children don’t want to go to nursery and always run in with a smile. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and are very approachable if there is anything you need to discuss. The outdoor space and safe environment really are second to none and I couldn’t imagine sending our children anywhere else.”
