Police have named a young Middlesbrough who tragically died following a car crash in Cumbria on Friday morning (July 7).
Daniel Stephens died at the scene of the collision on the A66, near the Brough junction.
Cumbria Police said the 35-year-old man's family has been informed.
A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: "A man who died following a collision on the A66, near Brough at around 6.10am on Friday 7 July has been identified.
"Daniel Stephens, aged 35 from Middlesbrough, sadly died at the scene."

Cumbria Police have appealed for anyone with information to get in touch and help with their investigations.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Anyone with information relating to this incident can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it, quoting incident number 22 of 7 July 2023 and directing reports to Sergeant Young and PC McEwan. You can also phone 101.
