Performers from The Joanne Banks Dancers are set to put on the show of a lifetime tonight (July 6) after what looked to be a successful dress rehearsal.
Dancers of all ages from The Joanne Banks Dancers school from Spennymoor, County Durham will take the stage at Darlington’s Hippodrome tonight at 7pm.
This year, the production is called ‘Shine’ and is said to be a feel-good family show filled with moments to sing along and tap your feet to, with performances of the show also scheduled for tomorrow and Saturday (July 8 and 9).

Ahead of the show, school owner Joanne Banks has promoted the showcase that is set to be a treat for dance and music lovers across Darlington.
She said: “Tonight, we perform our annual dance and musical theatre show that we always perform in the Hippodrome.
“This year it’s called ‘Shine’ and features a cast of 180 adults and children of all ages. The youngest is four and the oldest is around 58.
“We have lots of people of all ages coming together to enjoy the art of dance and performing arts.”
