A large emergency service presence was seen following a person's death at a North East housing estate today.
Cleveland Police confirmed the death of a person on Stanstead Way in Thornaby shortly after 11am this morning (July 5).
Police and Crime Scene Investigation crews could be seen attending a nearby housing estate, while a cordon was erected earlier today.

Police vans and a car remain at the scene while they continue their work in the area.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "Officers are responding to a report of a death, which is not being treated as suspicious."
A North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) spokesperson confirmed they had been called to the scene and deployed one ambulance and a clinical team leader.
They said: "We were called to an incident in Stanstead Way in Thornaby at 11.19am this morning. We dispatched one ambulance crew and a clinical team leader."

A police cordon had been erected at a car park between a nearby church and the housing estate.
Another cordon had also been put in place at a nearby pathway.
Earlier today, ambulances and around half a dozen police cars had attended the scene.
