Police have confirmed the death of a person at a housing estate after a police cordon was put in place and crime scene investigators were spotted at the scene.
Emergency services were seen on Stanstead Way in Thornaby at around 11.19am this morning (July 5) - with numerous police cars and ambulances at the scene.
After specialist officers erected a cordon on the street, searches of a vehicle from crime scene specialists could be seen - while other officers stood in place on the cordon.

Cleveland Police have since confirmed that a person had died.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for the North East Ambulance Service added: "We were called to an incident in Stanstead Way in Thornaby at 11.19am this morning. We dispatched one ambulance crew and a clinical team leader."
