Eagle-eyed fans of hit TV show Vera were shocked to see the cast filming on location at a popular North East restaurant.
The crew of the popular ITV programme, which is currently filming its 13th series, has been taking to locations across the region in recent months, including in Hexham, Wylam and North Shields.
However, on Tuesday (July 4), the filming crew picked Gateshead Quayside as their backdrop to film some of the scenes.

Vera has made its way into the top rankings of British telly over the last 12 years now, with the crime drama also finding a big fanbase worldwide.
The 12th series of Vera came to an end earlier this year and fans were excited to see David Leon make a shock return to the cast.
David has been spotted back on set with Vera actress Brenda Blethyn over the last month.
While the choice of location as Gateshead Quay wasn't too unusual for filming Vera, some fans were kicking themselves after missing out on the opportunity to be an extra in the TV show.
As part of an online advert put out last week, talent agents NE14 TV's put a post out on their Facebook page, for host roles in the upcoming scenes.
However, some fans didn't seem too disappointed, as they were seen snapping photos of the Vera cast, including some photos posted to The Northern Echo's camera club from photographer Joe Sheridan.
After taking the photos of some crew outside Grounded Out restaurant, Joe later discovered that he'd actually captured a picture of Brenda Blethyn and David Leon through the window of the venue.
