Police are searching for a Good Samaritan who helped a vulnerable Hartlepool woman following an incident that took place in Teesside last month.
Cleveland Police have launched an appeal as they search for a Good Samaritan who helped a “vulnerable” Hartlepool woman in the communal gardens at the Cenotaph in Victoria Road on June 17.

The woman was said to be sitting in the gardens near King John’s Tavern between 9 and 10am when she was approached by a man who made sexual remarks towards her and proceeded to touch her inappropriately.
Following the incident, the unidentified Good Samaritan took the woman who was left “distressed and shaken” to Hartlepool Police Station where the incident was reported.

The officer investigating the case is now wishing to trace this person as they may have information to assist their enquiries.
Police have said any members of the public with information should contact PC Andy Morrison on 101, quoting reference SE23117461.
