Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after a car collided with a pedestrian late last night (June 30) in Teesside.
The 24-year-old pedestrian has been left seriously injured after the incident on Skelton High Street near to the junction with Byland Road in Skelton-in-Cleveland last night just after 10pm on Friday, June 30.
A white BMW 3 series M Sport reportedly collided with the pedestrian at 22:07 leaving the person with a broken shoulder, breaks in his right arm, substantial facial injuries and potentially a broken back.

He was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he remains in the ICU whilst being treated for his injuries.
Cleveland Police have since confirmed that the BMW did not remain at the scene but was located shortly after the incident.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses, information and dashcam footage to help with their investigation.
A statement from Cleveland Police reads: “Anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to call 101, quoting reference SE23128311.”
