The Telegraph recently put together a list of the 'coolest' places to live in the UK, with one neighbourhood in the North East making the cut.
The places that made the list, all nominated by people who live in these areas, included the likes of Walthamstow in London, the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham and Finnieston in Glasgow.
Northumberland neighbourhood Ponteland made the list, coming in 34th place.
In the research, towns were ranked using key factors including residents' state of health, the cost of homes, the jobs people living there have and the qualifications they hold.

Estate agents Savills compiled the list, using data from the most recent census.
Reacting to the news, Mayor of Ponteland and Councillor, Karen Overbury, told The Hexham Courant: "It comes as no surprise to see Ponteland among Britain's 50 most desirable places to live in.
"We are very lucky to be surrounded by beautiful countryside and to be the gateway to Northumberland.
"There is an excellent community spirit here, as demonstrated by the many people who volunteered to help in the Covid support group three years ago and when Storm Arwen struck 19 months ago.
"We have a large number of groups and organisations, excellent schools, an impressive leisure centre and much more.
"And, of course, we have easy access to the city of Newcastle and the spectacular North East coastline.
"It's telling that a large number of young people who leave for university and jobs elsewhere choose to return to Ponteland when they have children of their own.
"It's simply a great place to live in. We moved here more than 35 years ago and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else."
Richard Dodd, Ponteland North Ward Councillor, said the village is in a 'lovely position', close to major transport links and Newcastle International Airport.
"The facilities are good; the village is well-supplied with pubs and restaurants. The schools are relatively new, we as a council have invested there," he added.
Jan Metcalfe, owner of Ponteland business Jan's Kitchen, said she thinks Ponteland is a 'very friendly area'.
"Everyone's friendly and tries to help each other out, business-wise as well. I think overall, people in Ponteland are really friendly and I think that's the Northeast in general too.
"I couldn't ask for a better place to have a business and I'm very lucky," she added.
