The weather is set to be mild today with rain and clouds expected across the region.
After the warm and sunny spell was broken yesterday with the emergence of rain, Darlington residents can expect more of the same on Tuesday (June 27) according to the Met Office.
The forecaster said cloud will thicken and lower through the morning as bands of rain arrive from the west.
They said this rain will slowly push across the region and may turn heavy across Western hills.
Adding to this, the Met Office also said residents can expect a maximum temperature of 18 °C today, as well as a low of 16 °C tonight.
