A popular brand has announced that it will open its first-ever North East store in County Durham at the start of next month.
Saltrock will open the shutters of Units 67 and 68 at Dalton Park on Saturday, July 1 - exciting prospective customers across the region.
Promising a surf heritage brand born out of North Devon, with a passion for the outdoors in the sea or on land, the store will sell products that are designed with a creative spirit through hand-crafted bold graphic prints inspired right on our doorstep with a love for the ocean and open spaces.

Since then, the business has grown to more than 60 stores, online, and +100 wholesale accounts.
Saltrock’s MD, Martin Williamson-Cary, said: “This will be our first new opening of 2023 and we’re extremely excited to join the Affinity Dalton Park line-up.
"We have a strong customer presence across the Northumberland and Tyne and Wear and when we were presented with this opportunity, in the biggest outlet shopping centre in the North East, we jumped at the chance”.
The Dalton Park store will mark part of the brand's UK expansion within a thriving market and continue to showcase its incredible mix of products to consumers that love the outdoors.
Marie Clarke, Head of Brand & Marketing of Saltrock, added: "This is a great step for the Saltrock Brand.
"The new store environment celebrates the brand heritage while being relevant to each location.
"With proximity so close to the heritage coast with its beaches, rugged cliffs and imposing headlands Durham is an inspiring location for our new store and is an ideal opportunity to exhibit our brand story and product line to both local and international consumers".
Saltrock, which has +60 stores across the UK, has employed 10 new staff in its Affinity Durham store.
