A man has tragically died after being found unwell earlier this morning.
Emergency crews were called to Stockton High Street at about 8.45am after the man was found unwell near to a local pharmacy.
The man received medical treatment from paramedics and police attended the scene, but the man was pronounced dead a short time later.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and his family has been informed.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: “The man’s family have been informed and our thoughts remain with them at this extremely difficult time.”
Eyewitnesses reported seeing three ambulance vehicles and police at the scene near the Knights pharmacy.

A spokesperson for the North East Ambulance Service added: “We received a call at 8:43 am to concerns for a person unwell at Knights Pharmacy on High Street Stockton.
“We sent a clinical team leader, specialist paramedic and two ambulance crews.
“Police also attended.”
