There are just two weeks left to go until the biggest ever jobs fair in Darlington comes to the Dolphin Centre.

From sports therapists to trainee bus drivers, Darlington Jobs Fair has a wide range of jobs and career opportunities on offer when it returns to the town on Thursday, June 29 from 10am-2pm.

Over 100 local employers and support organisations will be offering a wide range of vacancies, alongside training opportunities, at the free event organised by Darlington Borough Council.

Employers signed up include Amazon, Wilmott Dixon, Redde Northgate, Aldi, Lidl, EE, Durham Police, Darlington Economic Campus, with roles in The Treasury and Department for international Trade, Darlington Borough Council, NHS, the Army, Royal Navy, Darlington College, and many more.

The wide variety of roles on offer include; finance, management, engineering, trainee bus driver, IT, administration, HR, health and social care, forensics, communications/media, hospitality, research roles, personal trainer, sports therapist, production operatives, warehouse, commis chefs and many more.

A new ‘Support for Work Hub’ will offer the help and support to get that job, including careers advice, childcare help, information for anyone on a health journey or with a disability, or struggling with transport to work and volunteering as a first step to employment.

The translation hub, is also making a return offering help with translation services for those whose English is not their first language.

Support Organisations include: DWP Job Centre, Learning and Skills, Morrisons Trust, RNIB, St Teresa's Hospice, National Careers Service, Butterwick Hospice, Triage, Rare Rockets, Citizens Advice, Youth Employment, Princes Trust and many more.
