One of the main roads in Darlington has been closed due to an ongoing welfare incident.
Parkgate/Yarm Road in the centre of Darlington is closed in both directions to all vehicles currently, meaning the entrance to the train station is inaccessible by car.
The station is still accessible on foot, and trains have not been affected by the incident.
The public has been asked to avoid the area where possible.
