A main street through Darlington town centre is set to be closed for five nights.
Starting tomorrow (Sunday, June 18), Duke Street, from Stanhope Road to Larchfield Street, will be closed for five nights between 7pm and 5am for road surfacing.
There will be a signed diversion in place.
The Larchfield Street junction will remain open until 10pm for traffic coming from Larchfield Street and turning down Duke Street.

After 10pm, access will be from Raby Terrace along Bondgate via Salt Yard, and diversion signs will be in place.
On Friday, June 23, works on Duke Street from Stanhope Road to Larchfield Street should be complete and the new parking bays on the south side will be available to use.
