Police have today (June 14) confirmed that the death of a woman in Teesside is no longer being treated as suspicious, following a post-mortem examination.
The woman, aged 37, was found dead at an address on Cowpen Crescent, in Stockton, on June 12 as emergency services surrounded the area.
A police cordon was put in place as services were called just after 3.10pm, leaving residents “shocked” and “confused” by the presence of ambulance staff, police officers and crime scene investigators.

Two days on from the incident, Cleveland Police have confirmed they are no longer treating the death as suspicious and are closing their investigation.
Shortly after the incident, flowers were placed outside the address as the community tried to process what had happened.
One resident of the street said shortly after the incident: "We don't really know the story, we don't really know what's happened.
"They blocked off these roads [yesterday], nobody could get in or out.

"There was a lot of CID around here last night, they were taking a lot of boxes out. [I thought] what the bloody hell's going on?"
A post from Cleveland Police confirmed the end of their investigation this evening.
It reads: "Following a post-mortem examination yesterday afternoon, the death of a woman at an address on Cowpen Crescent in Stockton, is not being treated as suspicious and Cleveland Police are no longer investigating."
