A popular Darlington fish and chip shop has announced it will no longer be using a delivery service on social media.
Haughton Chippy, located on Haughton Grange in Darlington, have announced on Instagram they will no longer be available from Uber Eats.
The business put out a post saying customers can save money by ordering directly from the eatery.

The takeaway also seemed to aim a jab at delivery service provider Just Eat in their message online.
A Haughton Chippy spokesperson said: "We are no longer available on Uber Eats and if you order direct from us, you will save a load of money compared to the prices on a certain other platform that shall not be named in fear of retribution.
"You should Just Eat food that you have ordered direct from your favourite Haughton-based fish and chip shop."
The store had previously criticised the provider in 2018 saying its practices surrounding Google search algorithms had caused it to miss out on direct business.
In a letter at the time, Mr Suhadolnik, owner of Haughton Chippy, said: "Your platform accounts for what we consider to be a very healthy proportion of our delivery revenue and we’ve been very happy to pay commission for the custom that you bring us.

"We can live with a third of our revenue coming to us through your platform but we can’t live with 100 per cent. The commission associated with that would kill us.
"We are only a small business but we’ve worked very hard to establish ourselves as a business in Darlington.
"It’s difficult enough competing with the competition for business without having to compete with our suppliers and partners."
