A driver has bene taken to hospital after a serious crash that saw the air ambulance attend the scene.
Emergency services were called to Seal Sands Road in Billingham, near to Seaton Carew Road, at around 9.30am following reports of a multi-vehicle crash.
Firefighters, police, air ambulance paramedics and ambulances all attended the scene - with one person taken to hospital via road ambulance.

A spokesperson for the Great North Air Ambulance said: "Our critical care team was activated at 9.27am to reports of a road traffic collision in Billingham.
"We had a paramedic and doctor on board our aircraft and they arrived on scene at 9.32am. Our team assessed and treated a patient, and they were taken to hospital by a North East Ambulance Service road crew, accompanied by our team."
A spokesperson for the North East Ambulance service added: "We were called at a road traffic collision on the A1185, Seal Sands Link Road, at 9.20 this morning.
"We dispatched a double crewed ambulance, a clinical team leader and requested support from the Great North Air Ambulance. One patient was taken to James Cook Hospital."
Cleveland Police have confirmed their attendance at the collision, and advised motorists to avoid the scene, but haven't commented further about the nature of the incident.
