Cleveland Police have arrested a man and two juveniles under suspicion of a string of offences including burglary this morning (June 12) in Marske.
The three men, aged 15, 17 and 31, were arrested by police on suspicion of attempted burglary, vehicle interference and theft of a motor vehicle after a string of activity took place this morning.
Police were first made aware of an attempted break in to a property on Grenville Close in Marske at 4am, after a member of the public reported seeing three males wearing dark clothing and balaclavas holding weapons attempted to enter the address.

Further reports then state that the three were in possession of a blue mountain bike that police suspect may be stolen.
Two further reports then indicated that three men were trying car door handles in the St Germain’s area as they were also spotted pushing a motorbike along Marske High Street which was later recovered by officers.

A drone search co-ordinated by police subsequently apprehended the suspects in the sand dunes between Marske and Saltburn where they were arrested and currently remain in custody while they are questioned.
Investigations are ongoing as police appeal for information from the public who are directed to contact 101 quoting reference 113182.
