As Sam Fender takes to the stage at St James' Park as he kicks off his UK tour with his homecoming show in Newcastle, fans have flocked to the city to see the Seventeen Going Under star take to the famous Geordie stadium.
Sam will be performing two shows at St. James’ Park in Newcastle on Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10.
With the gates opening at 4 and Sam expected to take to the stage from 9pm, with support acts performing from around 7.30pm, some fans may be in the stadium a while.

Concertgoers are not permitted to bring their own food and drink into the stadium.
According to event organisers, there will be an extensive range of food and drink available to purchase in the courtyard and stadium. A pint of Carling will cost you £7 and a pint of self-serve Madri will set you back £7.50, with a separate gin and cocktail bar offering drinks from £9.
With many fans having queued in the hot sun, it's expected that there will be many seeking soft drinks. They're also available with a 1l bottle of water priced at £5.50 and soft drinks at £3.70.
