A political blogger is due to go on trial accused of breaching the terms of a restraining order preventing him from harassing a number of people online.
David Lindsay denies making online references to a woman in series of blogposts between January 29 and April 24 this year.
The 45-year-old appeared at Durham Crown Court where he pleaded not guilty to the single charge.

Recorder Jamie Hill KC adjourned the hearing until November 11 when he listed a trial scheduled to last for two days.
Lindsay, of Foxhills Crescent, Lanchester, County Durham, was released on bail until his next court appearance.
In 2021, restraining orders were put in place forbidding Lindsay contacting by any means those he had harassed, for ten years.
