Flights from a North East airport to a popular holiday destination have now gone live for 2023 - meaning their summer schedule is now fully operational.
Happy holidaymakers jetted off to Corfu from Teesside International Airport during the airport’s summer 2023 schedule took off for the very first time this morning (Saturday, June 3).
Families boarded the packed flight at 8.30 am on Saturday, with the full slate of holiday flights now operational.
Airline company Ryanair is now offering 14 weekly flights across four destinations to Teesside customers as part of their summer schedule.

Two flights to Corfu will take off from Teesside every week, and tickers are now purchasable on the RyanAir website.
Trips on offer from the airport include getaways to Alicante and Palma in Spain, Corfu in Greece, Faro in Portugal, Bourgas in Bulgaria, Antalya in Turkey, and Majorca.
Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen said: “With the 2023 season now entirely up and running, we’re continuing to welcome our all-important holidaymakers through the terminal to give them the best possible start to their summer breaks.
"Corfu was very popular last year and passengers are just as excited this summer.”
