Police have seized two high end vehicles after finding out that the drivers didn't have insurance policies and one of the motorists didn't have a driving licence.
Officers from Durham's road policing team have confirmed that they have succesfully seized a Lamborghini and Aston Martin after clamping down on uninsured drivers.
After taking to social media to share the news of the vehicle seizures, the specialist policing team shared some advice for road users, but especially those with high end cars.

Alongside a picture of both vehicles, which fetch close to £100,000 each, the police unit put the message: "If you spend many thousand of pounds on a car, make sure you have insurance - or as the owners of these two vehicles found - we will stop and seize them.
"Plus, the Lamborghini driver had no valid drivers licence.
"Whilst both these cars come with a raft of available & high value extras, we assure you that a driving licence and adequate insurance is not an option."
