An elderly pedestrian was hit by a car and left with head injuries while out walking her dog.
The incident happened on Elm Tre Avenue in Stockton on Wednesday, May 17 at about 3.10pm on the junction with Melton Road.
The 79-year-old woman was walking her small dog when she was hit by a black Ford Fiesta while travelling north on Elm Tree Avenue.

She was left with leg, arm and head injuries and spent the next three days under observation in hospital.
Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or may have CCTV or dashcam footage of what happened to come forward.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses/CCTV/dashcam as we investigate a collision in Stockton.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number quoting ref 098441.”
