A Hollywood actor was spotted asking for directions over the weekend in a Hampshire village.
Horsebridge must have been the go-to place this bank holiday weekend with Tom Hardy passing through the small village in the parish of King's Somborne and stopping to ask for directions on Saturday, May 27.
The film star, who has links to the North East through his wife Charlotte Riley, who was born in Grindon, was instantly recognised by locals who were walking through the village while the A-lister was driving through.
The English actor, who is known for lead roles in films such as Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, Venom, Mad Max as well as TV series Peaky Blinders, pulled up in the Test Valley village and was pictured in his car with a helpful local who seemed to be pointing where to go.
According to members of the Facebook group Spotted in Somborne and District’s the celebrity was asking how to get to Houghton High Street and often goes fishing in the area.
