A motorcyclist has been left with a broken arm and leg after being hit by a car.
Police said the Kawasaki rider was hit by a black VW near the Jack and Jill pub on the A171 Moor Road in the early evening of Thursday (May 25).
The incident left the rider with a broken left arm, a broken left leg, and a dislocated right shoulder, and he was rushed to James Cook University Hospital by the ambulance service.
Cleveland Police are now appealing for any witnesses or people with dashcam footage to get in touch and help with their enquiries.

A spokesperson for the force said: "We are appealing for information after a Kawasaki motorbike and a black VW were involved in a collision yesterday on the A171 Moor Road, near the Jack and Jill pub.
"It happened just before 5.15 pm on Thursday 25th May when the motorbike was travelling eastbound on the A171 towards Whitby. The VW was pulling onto the A171 to travel the opposite way towards Cleveland.
"The motorbike rider sustained a broken left arm, broken left leg and a dislocated right shoulder and he was taken to James Cook University Hospital.
"Any witnesses or people with dashcam footage are asked to contact Cleveland Police via the 101 number, quoting ref 100652."
