Three people have been arrested for suspected arson after a house fire on a North East street on Wednesday night.
One man, 30, and two women, aged 30 and 50, have been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life after a house fire on Pilkington Street, North Ormesby on Wednesday (May 25) night.
Cleveland Police confirmed they attended the blaze after receiving a report at 11.40pm, and those arrested are still in custody.

Cleveland Fire Brigade (CFB) said they deployed four fire engines in attendance from Middlesbrough, Grangetown and Saltburn, after receiving reports of the incident at 11:28pm.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "Police attended a house fire on Pilkington Street in Middlesbrough after receiving a report at 11.40pm last night.
"Two women, 30 and 50, and a 30-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and they are currently in custody being questioned.
"Enquiries are ongoing by Middlesbrough CID."

CFB said there was 100 per cent severe fire and heat damage to the first-floor front bedroom and 50 per cent severe fire and heat damage to the first-floor landing.
Four breathing apparatus, one hose reel and positive pressure ventilation (PPV) were used at the scene before they left at 1:27am.
A CFB spokesperson said: "We were called on 24/05/2023 at 23.28 to a house fire on Pilkington Street, North Ormesby in Middlesbrough.
"Four fire engines in attendance from Middlesbrough, Grangetown and Saltburn.
