Clothing retailer New Look has announced plans to close a busy retail park store within weeks.
The global brand’s Teesside Park store will pull down the shutters for the final time in just a few weeks’ time, on July 7.
New Look has said its priority is to help find employees alternative roles within the businesses.

A New Look spokesperson said: “Our store in Teesside Retail Park will be closing on the seventh of July.
“Our priority now is to support our affected store colleagues and find alternative roles for them within the business wherever possible.
“We would like to thank all of our customers in Teesside for shopping with us, and hope many will continue to visit us at our nearby store in The Cleveland Centre”.
New Look did not confirm the reason for the closure, but the Echo understands the decision was made by Teesside Park landlords. It means the brand’s nearest store will be in the Cleveland Centre.

Back in February New Look announced it would close several stores this year with seven having already shut for good.
It last closed 85 of its locations and laid off hundreds of staff back in 2018.
Stores in Gateshead, Stockton and North Shields all fell victim to previous rounds of closures by the company.
