Global superstar and queen of pop, Beyonce played to a packed-out crowd at The Stadium of Light for the first time since 2016.
The Renaissance tour, which is rumoured by many to be the star's final tour, brought fans from across the globe to Sunderland as they gathered to see Queen Bey for the first, and possibly the last time.
Bey marked her arrival in Sunderland with a simple but obvious change to her Instagram bio that send fans wild at the start of the day. It was also rumoured that the queen herself took a trip to Roker Beach with her husband Jay-Z and children. Just what the start needed before playing to a crowd of 50,000 people.
We spent the day at the Stadium of Light chatting with Beyonce fans, some coming from as far as New Zealand!
